Chirk Castle

"Finally!" you must be thinking.  "She gets around to updating her blog!"

I know, I know...I've been thinking the same thing too.  But don't worry.  I'm still here, still alive.  Very much so! That's the problem with writing blogs-sometimes you have to live.  And for a couple weeks (or was it a month), I was doing just that. After DTS graduation, I was hanging out with my roommate and her boyfriend, then spent a week in Harpenden helping out with various things, and now my parents are here!

Today, we visited Chirk Castle, about 10 miles from where I live.  I'd never been before, but I'd definitely visit again.  There's so much to explore! There were dungeons and towers, beautifully symmetric rooms and expansive gardens.  And for an added bonus, they had very cool wooden swords and bows and arrows that I was tempted to buy at the store.  I don't know what I'd do with them though.  Shoot at the pigeons and cats that come into our yard?  I'm sure I'd think of something.
